Lloyd and Tracy were married in May of 1981. Tracy is also a Realtor and they have had a lot of
fun running the business and raising their two children together.
Lloyd is an avid bicyclist and enjoys getting out almost every day for a ride as well as competing in some races.
Tracy enjoys gardening and decorating. In addition to her regular Realtor duties, she brings her decorating flair to the real estate business by way of assisting clients in staging their homes and even provides a full staging service for vacant homes. She also cooks occassional meals for the homeless as part of the feed the homeless project coordinated by St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
Their son, Peter, graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ with a major in aeronautical science and minors in safety and weather. He also earned his
commercial pilot's license. He has been offered the position of Combat Systems Officer with the U.S. Air Force and is scheduled to beging Basic Officer Training School on April 17, 2012. Peter is currently an active part in maintaining the family's rentals, assisting Tracy with staging, providing his handyman services to real estate clients and has also developed a small landscaping service.
Daughter Liz attended Loretto High School then moved on to California State University, Sacramento. She graduated in three years with a degree in criminal justice.
During high school, she was accpeted into the Yuba City Police Department's cadet program. She was married in 2008 to Tim Mallen, and they are currently expecting their first child (Lloyd & Tracy's first grandchild) in January of 2012.
Son-in-law Tim Mallen graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked part time for MHM Engineering for several years while he was in college and took a full time position with MHM upon his graduation. He passed his professional engineer's exam in 2010. He is an avid and accomplised triathlete and cyclist.
Lloyd, Tracy, Peter, Liz and Tim are all active members of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
For their parts, Lloyd and Tracy have not aged a day since the picture above was taken even those two, cute little children have somehow managed to grow up.

Lloyd has been chairman of the Sutter-Yuba Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee
since 1999. He has also served as the Association's president, been a California Association of Realtors' director and has been the recipient of all of the highest awards offered to real estate agents by the Association. This includes Realtor/Broker of the Year, the Lloyd Leighton Sr. Consistent Service Award (two times), the Community Service Award and the Realtor of the Year Award.
Born and raised in Marysville and Yuba City, Lloyd attended local schools and was active in agriculture leadership and sports.
1974: Graduated with honors from Calif. State University, Fresno, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ag-Business and a chemistry minor.
1976-1984: Employed by the U.S Dept. of Agriculture, Farmers Home Administration. Eight years of experience in residential and agricultural lending and appraising. Served last three years in County Supervisor position.
1985-1987: Fee Appraiser for Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
1987-1989: Joined the Sutter-Yuba Association of Realtors. Real Estate Sales Agent for Shamrock Realtors
1989 to 1996:
Employed by Interwest Homes Corporation. Seven years of experience in Sales, Appraisals, Property Management, and Subdivision Development.
1996 to 1998: Worked at Interwest Homes Corporation as a commissioned sales agent.
1998 to present: Owner/broker at Lloyd Leighton Realtors.
