Here is information on some of the junk Faxes that I have received. I hope this can be of some help to you if you are trying to find these bums.

If you have any information on how to contact the companies sending these junk faxes, I would appreciate you passing it along to me. I would love to take some legal action under the Telephone Consumer Protections Act (TCPA).

In June 2007, I sent a letter to my Senator (Diane Feinstein) asking for some assistance. I will let you know the results if anything positive comes from it. There has been NO RESPONSE as of this date.

10/3/2007 - Here is a little bit of information. I just called 800-207-3164 to see if they were still in business. The message was that this "is a non-terminating number with phonepeople.com." Then, I called and talked to a sales person at Phone People and she verified that they are the carrier for that number.

10/8/2007 - Sent an Email to the law firm of Edelman Combs & Latturner LLC after seeing a posting that one person had received some settlements from class action lawsuits filed by this firm. I passed along the information from above and asked if this is worth pursuing. Here is the response from Dan Edelman;

"No. Stock faxes are generally attempts by offshore persons to engage in market manipulation. The perpetrators are generally not worth suing. If the SEC finds them they are subject to 5 years' prison."
