Reputable and reliable lenders are hard to find. While we are are fortunate to have many good lenders in the Yuba-Sutter area, we continue to hear rumors that some lenders gouge clients with unnecessary fees and prepayment penalties or place them into subprime loans when they could qualify for conventional financing. The reports we hear indicate this is especially true among lenders that specialize in working with non English speaking clients.

We happily recommend to you the two lenders we use for our own personal financial needs.

Two other lenders to consider are Manjit Dhillon and Letty Duenas, both with Bank of America. Manjit is fluent in Punjabi and Letty is fluent in Spanish. You can deal with any one of these four lenders confident in the knowledge that they will give you fair and honest treatment.

There is one small warning when dealing with Bank of America. Loans are not processed locally and I don't believe their loan processing department puts enough emphasis on quality control. This may cause some delays in processing your loan.
